1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Klokk is a personal time and task tracking tool. The Service is provided "as is" and is subject to updates and modifications to improve user experience and functionality.

3. User Accounts and Security

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service.
• Accuracy: You must provide current and accurate information during registration.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are liable for all activities occurring under your account.
• Data ownership: You retain all rights to the tasks, projects, and time logs you input ("User Data"). We do not claim ownership over your content.

4. Payments, Subscriptions, and Lifetime Access

• Payment Terms: By selecting a plan (Subscription or Lifetime), you agree to pay the fees specified at the time of purchase. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors.
• Subscription Plans (Recurring): Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled via your account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
• Lifetime Access: A "Lifetime" plan grants you access to the Service for as long as the Service is actively maintained and operated byKlokk. This plan is a one-time payment with no recurring fees. "Lifetime" refers to the operational lifespan of the Service, not the lifespan of the purchaser.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify fees. For subscriptions, changes will apply to the next billing cycle following a 30-day notice. Lifetime purchases are unaffected by future price changes.
• Cancellations and Refunds: You may cancel a subscription at any time; access remains until the end of the paid period. Due to the nature of digital services and the immediate access provided, Lifetime purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by local consumer law.
• Service Retirement: In the event that Klokk is discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to provide Lifetime users with a 30-day notice and a final opportunity to export their User Data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purposes or to:

• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.

6. Service Availability and "As Is" Clause

While we strive to maintain a reliable service, Klokk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make best efforts to ensure the Service is available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be free of bugs or errors.

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or emergency repairs.

We are not responsible for any loss of data, loss of productivity, or any other damages resulting from service downtime or technical failures. Users are encouraged to utilize the data export features to maintain personal backups of their records.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service's interface, design, code, and original content (excluding User Data) are the exclusive property of Klokk and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klokk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
